It really started with my daughter. By her first birthday she'd had somewhere between ten and fifteen rounds of antibiotics. She just kept getting sick. I remember standing in doctors' offices saying something isn't right here, and being told I was just sleep deprived. Eventually we found out her white blood cells were dangerously low, autoimmune, and when I asked what we do about her gut after all those antibiotics, I was basically told not to worry about it.
While all that was happening to her, I was falling apart too. Migraines, exhaustion I couldn't explain, putting on weight even though I was eating better than I ever had. I told my GP I was so angry all the time and I couldn't feel joy, and she offered me antidepressants. No questions about my stress hormones, my sleep, what my gut was doing. Nothing. So I started digging myself. I worked with a nutritionist, I did therapy, and both helped to a point. But I kept noticing this pattern. No matter how much I fixed on the physical side or worked through things emotionally, there was still this thread I couldn't quite get to.
That's when I found homeopathy. It wasn't asking me to separate my body from my emotions from my history. It was looking at all of it as one picture, and it could actually get underneath things to the root in a way that nutrition alone couldn't and therapy alone couldn't. Trixie's thriving now. She's got her own gentle path with homeopathy. And so do I. I'd love to help you and your family do the same.
